Owligraphy Design, World Rooted & Rural Response for Healthy Children
collaborate for “Let Love Go Viral” campaign.
“Let Love Go Viral” is a slogan circulating the globe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The intention of Rural Response for Healthy Children’s (RRHC) campaign is to respond to the growing stress levels Huron County families are experiencing.
Let Love Go Viral T-Shirts
World Rooted is donating 25% of t-shirt sales to Rural Response for Healthy Children. Designed and printed locally, these t-shirts will help you show how important it is to let love go viral in our community!
Let Love Go Viral Chalk Art
In collaboration with Owligraphy Design. In an effort to spread some positive messages around Huron County, Owligraphy Design is traveling the County (and practicing social distancing) to deliver beautiful chalk art on sidewalks or driveways for a minimum $20.00 donation to Rural Response for Healthy Children.
How to Book Chalk Art!
- Please e-transfer a minimum donation of $20 to firstname.lastname@example.org Your donation will be auto-deposited to RRHC.
- Send proof of donation by email to Owligraphy Design at email@example.com Tip: a screen shot of the email confirmation of the donation is proof.
- Owligraphy Design will contact you to coordinate a time and location for the chalk art creation. This time will be confirmed after the non-essential business closure is lifted by the Province.
Even after the closure is lifted, we ask that you respect Huron Perth Public Health’s recommendation to practice social distancing when the chalk artists are creating. Watching the chalk artist from inside your home or business is a great activity to pass some time and excitement will build to go outside to check out the finished piece of art after the artist leaves. Please know, that the chalk artist is accompanied by (in a separate vehicle) a colleague who serves as an educator about social distancing should anyone approach.
Please note that Owligraphy Design chalk artists are Safe Places Youth Certified!
WorldRooted: the Art Project for People was founded by Bethany Ann Davidson of Goderich in 2018. The collective of caring creatives has raised awareness and thousands of dollars for humanitarian and conservation work through special-event and web-based exhibitions. Davidson reached out to Rural Response employee Genelle Reid, widely known by her “Owligraphy” moniker, to help launch a “Let Love Go Viral” campaign.
The women designed a line of t-shirts, posters and stickers which can be purchased online to support RRHC. This art is coming your way with a series of posters, stickers and postcards after April 6th. T-shirts are now available from World Rooted! Pre-order by April 10th please.
