How to Help

“Let Love Go Viral” is a slogan circulating the globe during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Thanks to World Rooted: Art Project for the People and Owligraphy Designs, Rural Response for Healthy Children launched a campaign in late March to respond to the growing stress levels Huron County families are experiencing during this time.

By providing parent support along with gift cards for groceries, gas and phone data, we hope to ease the stress so that parents & caregivers can focus on supporting their children.  As of April 22, 2020 over $9000 in gift cards have been distributed to Huron County families.

Donate for Chalk Art

In collaboration with Owligraphy Design.  In an effort to spread some positive messages around Huron County, Owligraphy Design is traveling the County (and practicing physical distancing) to deliver beautiful chalk art on sidewalks or driveways for a minimum $20.00 donation to Rural Response for Healthy Children.

  1. Please e-transfer a minimum donation of $20 to  Your donation will be auto-deposited to RRHC.
  2. Send proof of donation by email to Owligraphy Design at  Tip:  a screen shot of the email confirmation of the donation is proof.
  3. Owligraphy Design will contact you to coordinate a time and location for the chalk art creation.  As of May 19th, chalk art can be scheduled as soon as possible for the artist’s schedule.  Watching the chalk artist from inside your home or business is a great activity to pass some time and excitement will build to go outside to check out the finished piece of art after the artist leaves.  Please know, that the chalk artist is accompanied by (in a separate vehicle) a colleague who serves as an educator about physical distancing should anyone approach.  Owligraphy Design chalk artists are Safe Places Youth Certified!
