Group Programs - Family Ties

Rural Response for Healthy Children is devoted to a holistic, participatory approach model to strengthen families through supporting and promoting physical, emotional, and social health to children and their families. We provide groups which offer emotional support, and strengthening family techniques, knowledge and advocacy. Referrals can be made to community supports, such as those listed under RESOURCES.

We offer outreach programs that assist parents to strengthen their knowledge and skills to nurture their children through innovative self-help techniques.  We also mobilize community resources to raise awareness and educate on how to reduce child abuse and neglect. All groups include professional quality child care at no cost to participant.

Occasional local workshops feature timely topics such as Attachment Issues, Family Management, Healthy Life Choices, Communication, and support for families who are Separated, Divorced, or thinking about Separation.
