Individual Programs
Thank you for your interest in obtaining information about the
Parent Support and Education programs. We look forward to
assisting you in strengthening your capacity to nurture and
relate positively to your children.
The Parent Support/Education Program offers resources and
support for families with young children. Parent education,
social and life skill development, advocacy, and linkage to
community and organization supports are among the services we
offer.
Parent Support/Education staff work with families in a holistic
manner helping to build family support and encouraging positive
family interaction. We offer both male and female support
workers. (link to personnel page)
Parent Support/Education Workers come into your home or meet at
a preferred location. Workers can meet on an individual basis
and with couples. It is optional to have one facilitator or two,
depending on individual family needs. Our co-facilitation model
allows for a male and female visitor to meet with couples who
want to learn together.
