Rural Response for Healthy Children is looking for new volunteers to help out with our programs. What better way for you to expand your horizons while changing the lives of the families in your community. We offer many opportunities for our volunteers.

We provide you with the chance to:
Enhance your skills and work experience
Support families in your community
Socialize, have some fun and meet new people

We offer:
A variety of volunteer positions to choose from
Short and long term projects
Flexible hours
We reimburse any mileage and childcare expenses you incur.

We are committed to offering community-based programming.
To achieve this, we offer a variety of volunteer opportunities:

Rural Response for Healthy Children Board Members
Members of the Teddy Bear Dream Auction Committee
Kids on the Block puppeteers
Childcare Providers (Family Ties)
Playgroup Assistants (T.H.E. Bus and Family Ties)
Administrative Support
Special Needs Abuse Prevention Assistants

 
Here's how you can help...
Group Facilitators  
organize and / or lead parenting programs
Childcare Providers 
provide childcare for parent participants attending groups at various locations
Volunteer Drivers  
provide transportation for parent participants to attend groups, appointments etc.
Public Relations 
assist with public education for Rural Response for Healthy Children
Community Advisors  
sit on the Board of Directors
Playgroup Assistants 
assist the Mobile Resource Librarian at a playgroup in your area
Resource Maintenance for T.H.E. Bus  
wash and maintain exterior of T.H.E. Bus located in Clinton
Administrative Support  
assist with organization of library resources, mailouts and distribution of materials at the Rural Response office in Clinton
Group Co-Facilitators 
persons with experience and knowledge in group facilitation skills to assist with child programs in local schools
Child Abuse Prevention with Special Needs Assistant 
persons with knowledge and experience working with children with special needs
At Rural Response for Healthy Children, we have always been fortunate to have the most wonderful, dedicated, loyal volunteers. Why not add your name to the list.
