Child Support & Education Worker

Wife. Mom of 3 beautiful girls. Fitness junkie who also loves her chips.
I am passionate about living a healthy work and home environment. I love spending time outdoors and at the gym and that’s a good thing as I have high energy in everything I do. When I travel Huron County to provide programming to schools and day cares I know that I am helping someone and always looking to leave a smile on someone’s face every day.
I graduated from Conestoga College with a diploma in Recreation and Leisure. Through this program I was able to take part in field placement opportunities that allowed me to work with children in various settings. Continuing my education at Conestoga College I received a Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant Certificate. Then I was off to start my life in the real world as a Behaviour Therapist for Thames Valley Children’s Centre in the Autism Program. Fifteen years later, I decided to make a career change to follow the needs of my family, and here I am loving my career with Rural Response for Healthy Children.

If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be?
So here is my answer… If I could do absolutely anything for a day…I would do exactly what I’m doing right now. I try to live each day in the moment and do what I love.

What song would you say best sums you up?
Hard to choose just one song, but If my life had a theme song it would be “I Gotta Feeling” by Black Eyed Peas. I consider my life being full of love and always looking for the positive side of things and having fun.
