Virtual Book Club

We will be discussing the book What Happened to You? by Dr. Bruce Perry and Oprah Winfrey. Oprah Winfrey and renowned brain development and trauma expert, Dr. Bruce Perry, discuss the impact of trauma and adversity and how healing must begin by asking “what happened to you?” rather than “what’s wrong with you?”.

This book study is designed to support parents, as well as professionals, to get a deeper view of understanding trauma, resilience, and healing factors.

This program is funded by United Way Huron-Perth and the Government of Canada.

Each participant will receive a copy of the book study guide and the book is available upon request. This program is offered virtually through Zoom.

DURATION: 8 weeks

DATES AND TIMES: Mondays from 12:00 to 1:00 PM
