Preparing to begin elementary school for the first time is exciting! It is also a great opportunity for children and parents/caregivers and family members to learn together. We recognize that parents/caregivers are the best teachers of their children. Our goal is to provide Huron and Perth County parents/caregivers with tools and resources to engage their children in preparing together for their education.

Kinderoo Text Tips is a Rural Response for Healthy Children text messaging program for parents/caregivers that provides access to information and support to continue family preparation at home.

To receive school tips and additional information from Rural Response for Healthy Children, direct to your cell phone, text KINDEROO to 1 (226) 909-3005, and follow the prompts to subscribe.

Between March 2021 and October 31, 2021 you will receive up to 4 monthly messages from Rural Response for Healthy Children related to preparing children to enter school and parent self-care during this time of preparation. You can opt-out at anytime.

Rural Response for Healthy Children is using a Canadian text message system for parent and youth outreach specific to certain programs. The servers that support the system are housed in Canada. Our policies and procedures align with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation. It is designed to notify subscribers with reminders and additional information to support the well-being of their families.
