Participation provides a connection to caregivers who are living a similar experience, opportunity to improve positive grandparenting skills and build caregiver-child attachment.
Active participants will receive a delivery of monthly snacks and all ingredients for a family meal. Funded by Government of Canada and private donations.
Caregiver Coffee Break
Caregiver Coffee Break is a monthly, virtual drop (the third Tuesday of the month) for parents/caregivers raising children with disabilities, autism or mental health. It is a chance to chat and check in with other families to share successes, challenges and strategies. In collaboration with Huron Respite Network.
Sibz Club is a 4 week series for brothers and sisters, age 7 to 12, of children who have a developmental or physical disability, autism or a mental health concern. It is an opportunity to have fun together while receiving peer support, sharing their sibling relationship and exploring the gifts and challenges of being a sibling to a brother or sister with disabilities. We co-facilitate this group with Huron Respite Network. There is no charge for children participating.
